Q: What are the system requirements to run Windows Doctor on my computer?
A: Minimum system configuration
  • 800x600 screen resolution with 256 colors
  • 30 MB free disk space
  • 133 MHz Intel Pentium or AMD K5 processor
  • 64 MB RAM

  • Recommended system configuration
  • 1024x768 screen resolution with 16.7 million colors
  • 50 MB free disk space
  • 128 MB RAM

  • Q: The Trial Version of one of our products cannot be downloaded completely
    A: Download problems may be caused by unusual computer settings or a bad Internet connection to our download servers
    To ensure that there are no problems with your computer's settings, please do the following:
    • Deactivate all Download Managers that may be installed on your computer (e.g. GetRight, FlashGet, DAP, Go!Zilla). Some of these download managers can cause problems when Windows Doctor tries to download installation files from our server.
    • If you are an advanced user, check the Proxy Settings of your Internet browser. If you have entered a proxy server there to improve your Internet connection speed, try to deactivate it before downloading Windows Doctor.
    • Clear Internet cache or Temporary Internet Files. In Microsoft Internet Explorer, you can do it with the menu command Tools -> Internet Options... Click Delete Files in the window that appears and wait until the deletion is completed. Then close the Options window.
    If the download still fails:
    • You could try using a search engine to find other download servers with e.g. "Windows Doctor Download". Download the program from a site that you consider trustworthy (e.g. Download.com).
    Q: How to remove a previous version of Windows Doctor?
    A: Older versions of Windows Doctor are not automatically uninstalled during the installation of Windows Doctor 1.5. Uninstall is not necessary, as no conflicts exist between versions.
    If you would like to remove an older version anyway, this can be easily done without causing problems. For best results, use “Add/Remove Programs” in the Windows Control Panel.
     
    Q: How to register the product?
    A: The easiest way to register the product is to place an order online with your credit card. We accept VISA, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. You can also order offline. We accept checks/money orders in postal mails and purchase orders. All transactions are 100% secure and safe.
     
    Q: I am a registered user. I lost the registration code. How can I get it again?
    A: We added a new function of "Search for My License Key Code". You can find it on the right side of our homepage. Enter the e-mail address you used in making the purchase and we will do the search for you!
    If you still cannot find it, please email support@windowsdoctor.com with your full name and address, we will reissue you the license code.
     
    Q: How long does it take to get the license key code after the payment?
    A: We will issue the license key code to you immediately after your payment is successfully processed. It will appear on the screen right after your payment web page. Meanwhile, we will send a receipt with Order ID and license key code to your email address too.
     
    Q: I bought a previous version of your product. Can I get the new version for free?
    A: You will get the latest versions free of charge for up to one year after you make the purchase. We will send each of all our qualified customers (who made the purchase during the past year) a new license key by email. However, for those who haven't received their key codes in their email boxes, they can either search for the codes on our website using the new "Search for My License Key Code" function (you can find it at the right side of our homepage), or contact us at support@windowsdoctor.com with your full name and address for the reissuance of the license key.
     
    Q: How do I upgrade to the latest version if the version I bought was 1.xx?
    A: To upgrade to the latest version, please download the latest trial version from our website and install it, and enter the new license key code we send you via email.
     
    Q: Why can't I find my license key code when I search for it in my e-mail box?
    A: It takes some time to update our system with each new transaction. You can find your license key code by "Search My License Key Code" within around 48 hours after your purchase.
     
    Q: How do I install the full versions? How do I register the software after my payment?
    A: Please go to our homepage, download the trial version of the software you just bought and install it. After the installation is complete, you will be brought to the first page of the software. At this time you can click the Register button at the lower-left corner, key in your license code, follow the instructions and everything will be done in no time! Repeat the procedure if you bought a license for multiple computers.
